Tina Turner Refused to Cancel Show After Illness

Tina Turner
When it comes to Tina Turner, her motto is that the show must always go on.

Just this past Monday, Tina gave an incredible performance at Madison Square Garden in NYC and the crowd went wild. Would you believe that the night before, she was in the hospital with a very high fever and even needed to be put on oxygen?

That didn't stop the music diva from doing her thing and she refused to cancel the show. When celebs including Anne Hathaway, Molly Simms and Tony DiSanto wanted to hang out on her tour bus before she went on, she happily obliged.

Even though they were told, "no one is to shake her hand, and she cannot talk before performing," she still did. She took the time to chat with each of her guests, including a backstage visit from Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes.
