Prince is currently writing a book called 21 Nights, which goes behind the scenes of his record-breaking sold-out 21 concerts in 21 nights at London's 02 Arena in 2007 and also includes 124 full-color, never-before-seen photographs. Madden Brothers Honor The Smurfs

Who knew that Prince could possibly be upstaged by a group of blue creatures at Coachella? Those blue creatures are the Smurfs, and they're invading the desert.
Coachella later this month, Benji and Joel Madden are among the celebrities set to appear to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Smurfs. The festival is setting up an entire Smurf village, and Hynotiq is the sponsor! Talk about wasted!
Papa Smurf and Smurfette will be making the rounds in classic costumes....

Prince Makes Bank On Coachella Deal

Ok, this makes more sense. Now we know why Prince agreed to play the mediocre Coachella Festival. Money!
Prince is reportedly making $4 million to play at the venue. $4 million for one night! That should cover the expenses for hip surgery, and then some.
As we previously mentioned, Prince will take the stage on April 26th and that's a reason to head to the desert!

Prince To Undergo Hip Replacement Surgery

Prince has danced his his way to the top, and most recently, to the operating room. ESPN News, funny enough, is reporting that Prince will be undergoing surgery so he can avoid walking with a limp and a cane.
He's scheduled a hip replacement in which the ball and socket of his damaged hip will be taken out and titanium replacements will be put in.

Some millionaire from Miami, who clearly has way too much money, just coughed up $2 million dollars to have Prince perform at his 40th birthday.
