L.A. Times Apologizes to Diddy

The L.A. Times apologized for its story implicating Sean "P.Diddy" Combs in the death of Tupac.
It turns out the Times were relying on fabricated documents provided by a prison inmate. Pulitzer Prize winning writer Chuck Philips had the documents initially verified by a former FBI agent, but The
Smoking Gun exposed them to be fakes. They were shown to be created on a typewriter and not a computer and had parts blacked out.
