Michael Jackson Gets Stage Fright

We had heard rumors that Michael Jackson would be performing at the American Idol finale, but when the day actually came, George Michael performed.

Now we're hearing that the reason MJ pulled out was because he had stage fright! Apparently he was telling the producers he couldn't do it, and thought everyone would hate him. What planet is he living on?

The guy has gone on trial for child molestation and dangles babies off balconies, and people still love him. He should milk his fame for all its worth while he still can! At least Michael is in the studio right now, so we can look forward to hearing his new stuff pretty soon!

I'm shocked to hear that Michael Jackson was scared to perform. I honestly cant believe that. I mean he's always been so confident in his music if not in anything else. But what's strange here is that this info, from other stories i've read, had been coming from The Sun 'newspaper'! Thats a tabloid-checkout line- newspaper! I dont really think its 100% true. Anyways, you know if it were true the Reps. from American Idol would have said something....Maybe they will but who knows. POINT BEING, Michael Jackson shouldn't be scared to perform. His fans, me included, still love him. Whenever he does make his move, im sure it'll be great.

I agree with AARTZ1. This is just another rumor that was started. Anytime Michael Jackson is mentioned, ratings and sales go up. I believe this was also true of the Grammy's. Let's hope he will really perform soon.

I'm glad that people, like hollyscoop, are starting to write more positive articles about MJ. I don't even think its positivity we want, we just want un-biased articles... is that too much to ask? Surely thats what real journalism is about? I think hollyscoop should be PROUD that they may be one of the first people to put a stop to pointless negativity and gossip about MJ.

SIMON COWELL SAID in an interview yesterday on BBC Radio 2 that this is not true and that we hear these rumours all the time. So its just another lie. People are just fabricating rumours right now because MJ made an appearance recently looking great and with an astoundingly positive response from a celebrity crowd. The facts speak for themselves that he is still on top of his game and still loved. The media should realise they would make more money reporting positive things about MJ that are true. For a start, his fans generally don't read bad press about him as they know its not true.

omg. mj doesnt "dangle babies" as a past time. wtf? grow up and realize. mj is innocent and he is the GREATEST performer STILL TO TODAY. noone can ever take that away from him. MJ will always be up and ready to perform. its what he was born to do. this MAN (because some people cannot accept that he is one - a human at that too) is a born performer and will always be one - he is a legend and will always be one. if usher, justin timberlake and all of these fuckers can sell out concerts - WITH HIS MOVES - then he sure as hell can sell out 100 times more. MJ is the King of Pop, and he will remain that forever.
