Lily Allen has finally been granted a work visa in the United States, a year after her permit was revoked by immigration officials. Lily Allen only has herself to blame if there's a negative reaction over the latest leakage. Allen admitted releasing two songs via her Myspace blog Yagga Yo Thursday to give fans a sneak peek at her next CD. The British singer says the songs are still in the demo stages, but wants fans to "get an idea of my new direction."

Lily Allen's dad Keith wants ti ride his daughter's coattails a little bit.  Just like Lily, he now wants to be a singer.  He actually wrote a collection of eleven songs, hoping Lily would put them on her album, but she refused.   So Keith is doing them himself.  Who knows?
