Jessica Simpson is not getting much love in the country department. Despite getting good feedback on her upcoming album, true country fans aren’t having it.
Jess gave a performance on Saturday night at Country Thunder and fans at the event doubt she’s gonna be able to get out of the pop category and place herself into the country category.
"Just because she's dating Tony Romo it doesn't make her country," said one country fan. "She doesn't fit in with country, and I'll have to drink a lot of beer to sit through her concert."
"She's an embarrassment to country music," said another country fan.
Umm, wasn’t Jessica born in Texas? That makes her as country as Tony right? Jess don’t worry, you just need to grow on these people. Keeping wearing the cowboy hats and daisy dukes and sing your little heart out and one day you will get love from the country folks.
