The Miami music conference is weeks away and one singer you should look out for is Jes. The New Yorker who has given electronic music a new name and has worked with music heavyweight DJ Tiesto is making her mark in the industry.
Her latest project is Disconnect, an epic trance journey which contains materials that incorporate elements of rock to produce her self-proclaimed and utterly unique "rocktronica" sound. There is something exceptional about Jes’s voice, it’s quite meditating and can take you to ecstasy.
It’s no doubt that electronic music is slowly becoming mainstream here in the U.S. When we asked Jess her thoughts she said, “electronic music is modern music…I see it in movies, commercials, TV and in so many shows. I definitely think its coming into mainstream, I think within time.”
