Coldplay Accused Of Plagiarism

A Brooklyn-based band called Creaky Boards is accusing Chris Martin and Coldplay of stealing a melody from them.

They say that Coldplay's Viva La Vida is just a little too similar to their song called The Songs I Didn't Write. We can definitely hear the similarities, but it's not a total rip-off. What do you think?

ColdPlay did Not steal their song at all. 1.This band is not even well known at all and their from NY(Coldplay is from the London)So their is no way that Coldplay could even know about this pathetic grodge band. 2.They waited till the release of Coldplay's new album. 3.Their is no real proof that creaky boards made their song before they heard Coldplay's Ep. 4.Creaky boards is just making crap up so that their toy boy band might become famous(They're pathetic).

Absolutely agree with Mark Papaleo. Coldplay doesn't need to rip people off. They're famous enough as is. There's proof Chris Martin didn't even attend their stupid "concert." He was in London! Not just a different city but a different country! In fact, a different continent! These no-namers are just rying to boost their publicity. If they weren't, why'd they wait until Coldplay's song came out. They could've sued them before so their would be no problems later. But, of course not. Also, the Viva La Vida demo was released 7 months prior! Face it. No matter how much you may hate Coldplay, the case just doesn't look like it's going anywhere.
