Bruce Springsteen To Perform At Superbowl

Following in some pretty legendary footsteps, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band have been given the honor of performing at the upcoming Super Bowl halftime show.
Past performers have included Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, U2, Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, and Prince.
Let's not forget Miss Janet Jackson and that "wardrobe malfunction" back in 2004. This year's Super Bowl competition will take place on February 1, 2009 at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.

We have no idea who will be playing in the game, but Super Bowl XLII is already shaping up to be a good time. The Boss is heading to next year's Superbowl.

The Boss is returning to his home turf Giants Stadium in Rutherford, NJ for three shows this summer. His new album "Magic" was released last October and Springsteen is presently on the road in Europe through Dec. 19 in London.
