Bon Jovi Angered By Sarah Palin

Bon Jovi
The Republicans sure have pissed off a lot of musicians during this campaign! And the latest artist to take offense is Bon Jovi . He’s issued a statement against Sarah Palin, who recently used his song Who Says You Can’t Go Home at recent rally. Believe it or not, Bon Jovi is a McCain/Palin supporter, but didn’t appreciate their illegal use of the song.

In a statement, he said: "We are surprised to hear that our song was used by the McCain/Palin campaign at rallies. We wrote this song as a thank you to those who have supported us over the past twenty-five years. The song has since become a banner for our home state of New Jersey and the defacto theme song for our partnerships around the country to build homes and rebuild communities. We do not approve of their use of Home."

McCain and Palin better be careful, or they’ll be looking at some lawsuits! The Foo Fighters, Heart and Jackson Browne have also recently complained about the use of their songs at McCain/Palin rallies. In August, Browne sued McCain’s Republican Party for using his Running On Empty hit in a campaign ad.
