Finally! Amy Winehouse is giving us hope that she'll be working on her new album in the coming months. Even though she's been in and out of the hospital, the same old cracked-out Amy has been showing up to gigs, even to Nelson Mandela's birthday bash. Maybe we're just going to have to live with her being that way, because instead of making a commitment to recovery, she's planning on heading back into the studio. Ater Wino plays the Isle of Wight Bestival in September, she's all business. Or so her father says.
Mitch Winehouse says, "From the 6th September we are not going to be doing any more work for the forseeable future. Amy will be concentrating on writing for the new album. She has five gigs that she is contractually obliged to do but Amy feels, and I feel, and the record company feel that is enough live performing for the time being. We want her to relax."
Hey whatever it takes! We want to see her better, but we also want to hear more music from her.
